Our online Music Theory exams at Grades 1 to 5 are now available on-demand. So what are the benefits for candidates and how can you prepare?

Online assessment designed with the candidate in mind

Our online exams are designed by experts to give candidates the best opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding. The questions use easily understood language and we’ve increased the reliability of the exam by using objective question types. We’ve also made sure that what we test supports practical performance skills.

On-demand exams anytime, anywhere

We introduced on-demand Music Theory exams in August to give teachers and candidates complete choice over when to book and take exams. So candidates can do their exam at the best time for them. When you’re ready, just make a booking and candidates then have 28 days to take their exam. They can do the exam at home, in a school or in any other suitable location.
